Basic CPR/AED is a beginner course designed for anyone who is NOT in a healthcare profession, but wants or needs to know the basics of CPR & AED use in case of an emergency. This class meets OSHA CPR requirements. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a 2 year certification through the American Heart Association.

Need both CPR/AED certification and want the flexibility of completing coursework online before attending an in-person skills session? This Heartsaver® CPR/AED Hybrid course is designed for you. This course covers CPR and choking relief for adults with an optional choice to add-on children, and infants, as well as basic First Aid skills for responding to medical, injury, and environmental emergencies.
This course includes a 2-year American Heart Association BLS certification upon successful completion.

BLS (Basic Life Support) is designed for healthcare providers and students enrolled in clinical programs. If you work in a hospital, clinic, or other medical setting, BLS is most likely the certification you need

Heartsaver does not always have a separate renewal format like ACLS/BLS. Most learners simply retake the appropriate Heartsaver course before their eCard expires (every 2 years).
